Shimbhudayal Sharma, a resident of Ganga Colony, registered at the local police station that his house is near Soldier School in Ganga Colony. He is a teacher by profession, on last May 2 went to the local Government LBS PG College to take the exam in the 3 to 6 afternoon shift as usual. When the victim's family members returned from the college at around 6.30 pm, they found the lock of the main door broken. The locks of the almirah were also broken inside and cash and jewelery were missing. After reporting the incident to the local police station, the police team reached the spot and inspected it. Also checked the CCTV cameras installed nearby. On scanning the CCTV footage, three unidentified thieves were seen leaving on a bike. At present, the police have registered the case and started investigation. It is noteworthy that in the same way, from the house of an electricity department employee near Ram Vihar Colony Gaushala in the town, near Ganga Colony, unknown thieves broke the lock of the house and took away jewelry and cash worth about ten lakh rupees. Similar incidents have happened recently in the town at other places including the house of a CA.
